Make your own Burrito too!

Since I loved Burrito so I learned myself how to make my own Burrito instead of buying. It's not actually really hard when you make as long as all your ingredients are complete. You just need the ingredients like:

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 pcs green chilli pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion. chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups cheese, grated ( you can use Monterrey jack or of your choice)
  • 4 tablespoons cream sour
  • 1 cup cooked Spanish rice
  • burrito wrapper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • big bowl
  • Baking pan
For preparation:

Cook the ground beef until become a li' bit brown and make a well in the middle of the pot and put oil. Saute the green chilli pepper, onion for 7 minutes. Add soy sauce, rice and mix them and simmer for 20 minutes. Please stir sometimes to avoid burn.

Off the heat and transfer it to a big bowl and add the grated cheese, sour cream and cilantro. Mix them well before you put on the wrapper.

Preheat the over to 350 degrees Celsius. Put your Burrito and set 15 minutes. If you want a lil' bit crunchy you can add the time. That's it and enjoy eating with your choice of sauce and beverages:)

Here's my finished product that I made last night as our dinner.  The sauce that i used is called  Castillo AMOR Picante or salsa picante hot sauce.  It's very delicious sauce for Burrito:)


  • You can add or reduce the sour cream if you don't want dry or too much moist your Burrito. 
  • Put the left over in the refrigerator
